I’ve loved Lillian’s style since I first met her, so when I heard she was starting to do hair and makeup professionally, I knew right away I wanted to hire her for my wedding. It can be so hard in Hong Kong to find someone who understands and excels at Western styles of makeup, so I was lucky to find Lillian.
Lillian is a true professional. First, she sent me some pictures of suggested looks for me to consult and take inspiration from. Then she took me shopping to pick colours that would suit me best and get everything we would need in one trip. We did two full trials, and she showed me how she would adapt the look from ceremony to reception. While she was working, she even answered all my questions and gave me great tips for my regular skincare and makeup routine. The morning of the wedding, she arrived promptly and began working, completing my full look and all four of my bridesmaids on time, and she was patient, calm, and detailed. It was fantastic to have her throughout the day, as she kept an eye on my makeup for touchups and photos.
I felt so comfortable working with Lillian. She is very personable and fun, and I feel we became good friends through the experience. I was so pleased with her work that I hired her internationally a second time, to do my hair and makeup for my second wedding reception.
